Gold Specimens

Crystallised gold, specimen nuggets and gold-in-quartz from Australian goldfields. Australian gold comes mainly from two settings: Archean greenstone belts in Western Australia, including Kalgoorlie's Golden Mile, and Palaeozoic quartz reefs in Victoria and New South Wales. Much of it later weathered out into alluvial deposits.
